To crank close the sunroof you need two hands.
One to crank
One to hold down the air deflector allowing for the sunroof to slide into position, each and every time pinching your finger.
Today I had another look at the deflector mechanism and found that by pushing 2 spring loaded rods it released the entire deflector works. I have come to the conclusion that the air deflector is an item no longer needed being that upon its removal the sunroof now closes as it should and I can enjoy a high speed ride with the sunroof open minus the extreme air turbulence racket that the reflector created while popped up.
91 740 sunroof air deflector can't be a Swedish design...
