Classic ABS module symptoms + some extra lights? 99 S80

Hi all,
my 99 s80 has the CEL, ABS,and TRACS light on. As well as "Brake failure" "transmission service urgent" "srs airbag service urgent" "stc service required" messages. Just wondering is it normal for the SRS and Tranny message to come on? I know the ABS has to do w. shifting to some extent.. And the SRS light is NOT on. Just the message. Also the trip meter is on -------

I'm pretty sure getting the ABS module rebuilt will solve this. Anyone else think the same or otherwise? Thanks.

Don't throw parts at it, figure out what the problem is first. Have it scanned.

The ABS module isn't going to cause the SRS message. Find another car to test your module in first.

Before I changed out my ABS Module I was getting some weird messages too. In addition to "Brake Failure, Stop Safely ASAP", I also received "SRS Service Required" and "Power Steering Service Required". Once I changed out my ABS module with a rebuilt one they all stopped popping up.

I can't say for sure it will fix it but it definitely fix all your errors but it fixed all mine.

I tend to proceed with caution anytime there's an electrical issue/lights with an S80. The CEM seems to be a culprit occasionally.
