It's fall!!!

Post by jblackburn »

As you may or may not know from my ramblings on the site here, October is by far my favorite month of the year. Changing leaves, cool weather, fall-ish things, football, and yummy things to eat!

Post up any cool pictures or talk about your plans or great fall drives you've been on here!

One of the coolest fall drives on this coast, by the way, is the Blue Ridge Parkway. It runs from the mountains of TN, through NC, and ends at Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Forest in Virginia. Beautiful if you hit it at the right time of year.

My girlfriend and I have plans in a few weeks to head down to the mountains of North Carolina for the weekend. This was from last years trip.

Great photos, Justin.

Here's some of mine from yesterday from a quick hike near my mom's house in Castle Rock, CO.

These roads look great. Know of any awesome fall driving roads in NJ?

You'd have to head out to 81 in PA or upstate NY/VT for those kinds of roads

On a side note, I should be making it back to PA at Christmas to visit family, and the possibility of New York for New Years is also being worked out!

Nice pictures, Matt...but where are the pretty trees?! I need to start editing my pictures...the iPhone camera doesn't like sky too much for some reason.

J

I had a feeling you were going to say that. NJ is just way to crowded and over developed.

Some from the past few weekends - including our mountain trip to NC.

The leaves weren't as pretty this weekend as last year; I think we missed it by one week. But the weather was PERFECT and I had a great time.

I always love your pictures. Looks like you had great weather this weekend also. I need steal the SLR away from the misses and take some nice pictures too. I feel left out.
