I've been comparing an 01 and 02 V70 non Turbo.

01 has 140,000 kims

02 has 175,000 kms

The prices are the same. All else being equal, which would you pick?

First, I'd pick the right forum, but seeing as how you're here...... 2002 generally considered a better car all around for build quality & engineering de-bugging than 2001, but neither without it's faults. HOW much is the real question. At 175 K, you're getting dangerously close to missing out on extended ETM warranty - has it been changed? More importantly, any P2 car you look at MUST have had MORE than factory recommended servicing.....Volvo service periods are way too long & permanent engine damage results in cars that follow the factory schedule - both cars are at the mileage that symptoms start to show up......if you don't think you can afford to fix this thing, buy something else. :)
