Impossible? All I see is a Google search in upper right corner -- spent the time to look at the FAQ and it said a link to Advanced search is located on EVERY page in the forum(s).
WHERE ????
Why not make it EASY ?

The Google search IS easy and turns up the most results by keywords.
If you're looking for something very specific - a specific poster, specific forum or a specific topic title you can't find with the Google thing, try this:

What exactly are you looking for? Someone probably knows something to point you to - that's the great part of a forum.
