Can the E15 blend of Ethanol run safely in 1997 850 (non-turbo) Volvos? Any modifcations required for E15 blend?
Thank-you

You can find E15 at appropriate octane levels but that is not really relevant , the key point is that E15 is corrosive to the fuel system. E15 is not recommended for any vehicle made prior to 2001. I wouldn't use it but if the car is on its last legs anyway you could ...

All fuel we have where I live is at least 10% ethanol. Some may contain 15%.
What I've noticed is how much my car HATES the high ethanol fuels. It just runs rough compared to fuels with no ethanol at all (found it once in NC and SC).
