2000 v70 rear defrost not working

I' ve scoured the site and am having difficulty finding advice that covers having a problem with just my v70s REAR defrost. Side mirrors seem to not have an issue, and I was unable to find a break in the wire bundle near the left hatch hinge (I was also unable to find any breaks in the wire that runs to the defroster on the glass). What should I be doing or where should I be looking next? I seem to be at an impasse.
