Ceramic will wear out your rotors quicker but they do have more stopping pwer. People still like them despite their tendency to squeal more than the Volvo pads. Personally I put up with the extra brake dust and buy the OEM pads from www.fcpgroton.com

I have ceramic pads on mine and I like them a thousand times better than the original pads. I don't have to worry about brake dust and they perform better.

The downside? The likelihood of getting warped rotors is much higher with ceramic pads, so you'll get a little vibrating when you slam on the pads. My 2 cents would be to go with the ceramic pads.

I am running Brembo rotors and NAPA premium ceramic pads. No squeel, very little dust and the increased life of ceramic has made the brakes what they should be. Do a search on ceramic and brakes and see some of the older posts...
