I inherited this 240 from my daughter after the southern US hail storms destroyed it in April of this year. I found a donor car of the same color and replaced the hood, trunk lid, both front fenders, rear doors and used a spot weld cutter to remove the right rear quarter panel and spot welded in the one from the donor (it had been damaged and poorly repaired previously so I took this opportunity to fix it right). I then took the car to bare metal on from the trim piece up except for the roof that I filled and block sanded. After prepping with self etching primer, filling primer and primer sealer, I had it sprayed by a local body shop and I am back on the road in a pretty good looking 93 240.
The only thing that is not working correctly now is the cruise. I can set it and it will hold for a few miles then it will start losing speed. Where do I need to look for the fix?
Thanks,
Bill
