I'm new here

Post by glenn49 »

Hi folks, I just found your forum and registered. I bought my first Volvo about 2 weeks ago and am excited and a little intimidated by it. It's a 2002 V70xc, white with tan leather. It's got just over 74k on the odometer and looks and drives great. I bought it at a used car lot and they said they had a mechanic "go over it", change the fluids and filters, tune it up, etc. In the process, they said the mechanic found enough filings in the tranny fluid that he replaced the torque converter and a "few other parts". I'm trying to get acquainted with it by going through the manual and checking things out. I'm sure I'll be asking for advise from the owners out there who maintain their own vehicles. Just wanted to say hi.
