My local junk/scrap/salvage yards don't have any torn/ruined seat covers. I have an idea for a crafty-type repair project that requires about 14"x 8" piece of interior matched leather.
Anyone have any thoughts?

I was trying to rig up some sort of repair on the cup holder cover of an S60's center console.
I took the cover off and had it in the trunk for years and its very scuffed and torn up. I debated repainting it (if I can get matching interior paint) or just putting a matching leather cover over it.
