I had a similar situation occur with my 2000 Chevy Astro. It was caused because fuel was leaking into the intake manifold via the spring seated ball 'check valve' in the 'spider legs'. It might be a similar situation with your vehicle.. You might has an injector which is not closing properly i.e. is leaking fuel
I cured my problem with STP fuel injector cleaner which dissolved 'gunk' which which was preventing the 'spider legs' from seating
