So i have been doing a lot of hypothetical playing in my head and some research and just wanted to know if anyone has extrude honed their stock manifold for flow and had it coated by Swain tech with the white lighting treatment. As far as exhaust upgrades go i really and liking the VMS cast manifold + white lighting idea. I believe that i have read that the VMS mani doesn't fit my 855 though. just wondering, no real immediate plans.

1. Don't send VMS a dime....ever. You'll be lucky if you see your parts. That guy has railed waaayyy too many others.

2. I've looked at a stock manifold and an R manifold. I don't think you could get enough material out of the stock unit to come close to the s60r unit. For the $$$ you'd be better off with the R unit.

Thanks for warning. I do like some of the VMS stuff so i will keep the bookmark for the pix/desgns of the mani whenever i get around to learn welding and might fab something up - i have to say the reasoning behind that manifold design is good "hitting a 90 degreee wall directly out of the head" does SUCK and there sems to be plenty f firewall clearance. I have been trying to search for others' custom manifolds and really haven't come up with anything - this really speaks volumes for the S60R mani since a lot of the people who i have seen mod this cars have waaaaayyyyyy more means than i do and they seem to be good with it. I have really fallen in love with the white lightning coating and will probably do that on an s60R mani and call it a day
