Used Xemodex ETM from 99 V70XC

Taken off a 1999 V70XC with blown motor
*mileage unknown*

Since Xemodex are confident enough that they provide lifetime warranties on these unit, I feel better offering it up to fellow members even though this was not tested as the car was non-operational when I got there.

It is my understanding that Programming at dealer required so don't expect to drive your car off into the sunset once this is installed.

Do you still have this Item? I've heard that the" DEALERSHIP" techs say that you can't use an already used E.T.M and that the software won't load. Is that true? Enlighten me please are they full of it ? or can you really use a used E.T.M. if so I will buy this one.

fyi, i had a 99xc70 and at the time i had my 01 c70. it interchanged and worked as stated. the xc70 has my etm from my c70 when i sold it 1.5 years ago. i kept the xemodex etm for my c70, been fine ever since august 2010

I just replaced my 2000 V70XC's yellow-label ETM with a junkyard 1999 S70 GLT yellow-label ETM. It may not need to be reprogrammed.

I'm sure contacting Xemodex for a reprogramming would yield better answers. I think it's possible and it's a great buy for anyone with a defective ETM.
