V70 D5 S E4 (2006) 100k mile service/workshop manual

Hello All

This is my 1st post. I am in the UK and have acquired (from a friend) a 2006 Volvo V70 D5 S E4 estate, (which has been serviced annually by a Volvo dealership) and I love it! There is nothing actually wrong with it (yet!)

It has been perfect for transporting safely the 2 new arrivals to our family in comfort and safety for the year it (and they) have been around! The mileage is approaching 100,000 miles. I looked around on forums and read that everyone advised getting the cam/timing belt replaced (before the 110,000 mile service recommended by Volvo), so I got my local garage to do that a month or so ago. The service reminder then started reminding me it needed a service. I found out how to override (a couple of weeks ago) that but now I really need to actually service the car. My local garage offered to do the servie for GBP150 (not unreasonable I thought) but I am an average DIY mechanic and quite happy to have a go! I am really not a fan of Haynes manuals, but being new to the vehicle I dont really know what should be replaced, when and how? So what I am looking for is a recommendation for either;

1. A source of genuine Volvo V70 D5 (2006 onwards) workshop manual?
2. An online or CD based workshop manual for my car?
3. A really good other 3rd party workshop manual for my car?
4. Ive come across the term VADOS on this site - but not really sure what that is - and whether it is what I need - or how to get it?

What I need is information on what should be serviced, when, and ideally with good quality "How to" explanations
