Rear wagon window exterior trim piece.
I snagged mine today while polishing it out, am I good to remove it while I order another one?

If i were you i'd try snipping it off up to where its broken off, that way less exposed area, although i dont think this piece connects or holds the window in any way.. probably best to leave it on

Sorry, can't be of any help, but I'd be very interested to see a close up of the trim piece and how it fastens itself to the window and panel. I'm guessing there is some metal in that seal/trim as one corner of mine is sort of corroded or rusted, can't tell. Here in the northeast that marvelous thing serves a a wonderful calcium chloride collector. Hope you get it fixed.

I'm not worried about getting it fixed, the new one pops right in. Its starting to get below freezing here at night...I'm more concerned about ice in the area where the trim is supposed to be.

On my wagon, the right one third of that piece (where yours is disconnected) has been missing for about 1 year. Seems no harm done in that time, which includes one full winter.
But I'd like to replace it, do you have a part number?

Mine did the same, was peeling out of one side so I ripped the entire trim out, ran a taped down about 1" below the glass and sprayed the entire width with truck bed liner

Snip it off where its starting to peel, that way you only have a little ice to worry about, if that, park in a garage if possible, or use a hairdryer to heat the ice out, make sure to wipe away the water, cause when you taka it back outside it'll freeze again. probably popping out the new piece.
