I just joined the forum looking for answers & help with my 1999 V70 T5 ~ it has been out of commission for a little over a month now after my slave cylinder bit the dust. I had it towed up to my local Volvo guru and he told me the bad news of how expensive it would cost to repair our wondeful wagon. It was his opinion that because the car has over 200k that it probably wasn't worth putting over $2500.00 in repairs to it? I unfortunately I Iost my job back in March so we don't have the funds to fix it and we don't know what to do at this point. We love the car & would hate to see it go off the boneyard ~ if there is anyone available for help or advice, we would be super appreciative!! We live about 40 miles South of Boston Massachusetts & the car can be towed up to 100 miles with my AAA memebership. Thank you
