This is the place you can come to to write about parts (suggest some, ask questions, etc.). The regular Volvo car forums are fine too for this. No pressure

Welcome to the Volvo parts subforum!
This is not the only place to have a discussion about parts. Naturally, there are conversations about parts going on right this minute on forums besides this one.

Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.
Also -> Amazon link. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!

If iPd sells it and it is aftermarket, they stand behind it and it works well. Some iPd parts can even be superior to original. As a rule, their uprated 240 radiators are especially fine. Their advice over the phone is superb.
I am rebuilding Beauty, a 1990 760 turbo wagon. When parked at our cabin someone broke in a stole the head from the back seat. I would like to know where to find those nifty sodium filled valves to put into a 740 head. Assuming this is the difference and nothing else (?) I find some expensive TRW 940 exhaust valves, same price as stock at the dealer (91.00) but they an't say they are what fits. (It's so sad when bad things happen to good sentances.)
Is there a diff between 940 and 760 heads?
