I've been wrenching on cars since High School in the '80s, But most recently I'm becoming knowledgeable in Volvo 850s intricacies since acquiring one a few months ago. If anyone may need a hand with some of the small stuff, I think someone already said "up to but not including engine removal" I'm sure I could be of assistance with hand tools and such.
My problem is the last issue I really need to address, which is replacing my rear main seal. I know what needs to be done but I do not have the facility, or chain lift. I know the job specs 6.5 hrs. but I imagine that is with air tools and no problems.
Feel free to PM will questions or suggestions. Thanks.

I had an engine hoist but got rid of it. I see them pop up on CL quite a bit. What part of town are you from?Ben850 wrote:I've been wrenching on cars since High School in the '80s, But most recently I'm becoming knowledgeable in Volvo 850s intricacies since acquiring one a few months ago. Yeah, I thought so too. The local euro-mechanic said 8 to 10, and I know I would spend at least a couple days.
I'm in Farmington hills, probably about 25-30 minutes from Ann Arbor.
