Volvo 850 1995 model car radio SC-811

The sticker on my radio bears the wording "Japan Serial B40725982". Could you please tell me the make of this radio. I phoned two Volvo dealerships in Melbourne and one dealer said the radio was made by Mitsubishi and the other said it was by Pioneer.
I wish to install a CD stacker to this system but I am told by several car auto radio installers that other makes such as Eurovox stackers are incompatible. Is this so? I would be grateful to have your advice as I have already committed to the purchase of a Eurovox stacker.
Do I need a special lead to connect the stacker to the radio? If so, could you give me details.

I do not know anything about the Eurovox Stacker, but all of these Sc series Volvo radios are made by ALPINE. If you use an Alpine CD-Changer, it will work, but I understand you still need the correct DIN cable for it.

Jim, I found the definitive list. Actually we're both wrong. Some were made by Mitsubishi, some by Alpine, some by Daewoo (weird), Phillips and even Delco: http://carradio.al.ru/st/?sortby=V

The radio in question on this thread, the SC-811 was made by Alpine.
