P-2 Ignition coil packs
I'm considering replacing some or all the coils on my 2006 V70-R. I'd like to replace them with the newest parts but not sure the 2012 (2011) versions will be OK in the '06 (mechanical fit as well as electrical compatibility). Anyone have the answer on this? Thanks!

Why would you ask in the classifieds and why would you want to try to use a part that may or may not be for your car?
There is nothing wrong with Volvo or aftermarket coil packs in general plus you DO know that the R coil is different than the other 5 cylinder coils?

No, I don't know. That's why I am asking. Do you know? I just know my current coils aren't doing well and several months ago YOU suggested they be replaced. I want to replace the V-70R coils with whatever the best replacement is. If you know the answer I'd like that.

Absulutely nothing wrong with stock coils
If you want to spend $500 in IPD coils, be my guest. I don't think they make any difference on a stock or stage 1 R
