Was hoping someone had an answer, that even my mechanic has yet to figure out...My 740 has 238,000 miles . recently had Air mass meter replaced (it was idling badly). New Cap, rotor, plugs, wires and even a new coil. Lately, the car Only starts once a day in the AM when it's cold. and refuses to start after that. (Occasionally it will start just fine for the whole day). It turns over just fine and has spark, but simply refuses to start. when it does start it runs and idles like a champ! Thought it might be fuel filter but the car never stalls once it is running. HELP?!?!?
