Might Be back

Post by Glencoeteen »

HEY EVERY ONE!!!! okay well I am thinking about getting back into another volvo, those that remember me know that i had a 98xc70, 98 S70 T5 and a 04 Xc90 T6, all which i loved the most. well honestly I loved the XC70 the most. Tomorrow I am going to look at a red, 00 XC70 and if it checks out good, then I will work out a deal and hopefully drive it home! I am honestly excited, then it would be off to the other side of portland to Ipd for some improvement's. anyways I am getting ahead of my self, Its been a couple months since i have checked in on everyone! i hope all is well! and look forward to being back in the volvo scene. i have big plans this time!

no go on the XC, or XC90, I looked at 5 of them!!!! and they were all over prices and a total let down! the only good one i found was a 00 XC70 SE but had 145k and they wanted 8k for it! I am really bummed out, i had two great volvo's that I let go for way to cheap....

+1

That goes for all used cars actually. Unless you are looking for a manual transmission.

Last time I was looking for a car (2007), I couldn't find ANYTHING besides a Civic with a manual transmission. Said Civic already had 200,000 miles on it at the time. I wanted a Jeep Cherokee in one, but they just don't exist after say, 1993.

That said, I'm actually re-thinking getting another manual. I love it, but if I'm moving to a big city with a lot of traffic...well, let's just say I did a lot of driving in my parents car with a manual transmission in traffic and MY FOOT REALLY HURT. Stupid I-95.

Really? They have a good amount of them around here in NJ. I got my mazdaspeed 6 for about 5k under KBB because they could not sell the car being it is a manual. No one around here knows how to drive a stick it seems, either that or they don't want to.

I saw that actually, when I was looking for 2004-2005 Honda Civics. There are NO EX 4-door manuals in the South, but there were tons within like a 30-mile radius up there.

I wonder why that is?

Way to highjack my post guys!!!! anyways I found my ole S70 T5 for sale on a local dealer lot, now he's asking way to much for it, but I plan on going and checking her out and see how what shape she is in, Since I know 80% of her history up till i sold her about a year and half ago I might just Trade in the F350 Diesel and get her back. then again can this site handle me coming back?
