Turn signal housing

Post by RuthM »

I've searched and can't find the answer to my question and am hoping you can help me here.

I was driving on the interstate and the passenger side turn signal lens/cover just began to break off in pieces. When I got home, there was basically just the housing left. I pulled it out fairly easily, and checked the driver side, and since it has a large crack in it, I am going to replace that one as well. Since it's not broken and the engine was hot, I didn't want to mess with it just yet, but I need to know the proper way to remove it. Does it just pull out like the broken side (minus the bulb) or do I have to go under the hood like I do to change the bulb?

Open the hood, and you will see one screw holding it in place from the top. Remove the screw and pull it out. Very simple.
