Flash back codes from B1 and write them down. Let us know what you find.

Greetings!
I own two 1998 S70's and I am having a problem with the blower not working on the car with automatic climate control. Thanks to the heated seats and highway driving and a mild winter here in the Philly area, I have been fine, but it is time to address this problem. When I start the car, I get the dreaded flashing lights.
I have looked at several posts regarding flashing lights and see references to the "B1" port. Where is this located? What do I need to get readings from this port. I have an OBDII scanner and have used it to clear codes using the plug in the armrest, is this the B1 port?
Any assistance or guidance will be welcomed.

Same happened to my 98 S70 last week, the blower motor stopped working after working very noisy for a few days. I removed the blower motor and cleaned it with a contact spray but cleaning did not make it work.
So I took the blower motor to an electric motor repair shop, they took the motor apart and we saw that the commutator was in very bad condition. They simply replaced the commutator with a new one, put the motor back together after some cleaning and lubing. Cost me $25 and runs like new.
