Heating fans not working flashing A/C light, help its cold!!

have a H-reg 1991 960 2.3lpt. Fans don't work (heating or A/C), when turned on the A/c lights begin to flash. fans use to work but mainly on full power, Any thoughts? i can't find anything on this

Welcome to Matthew's Volvo Site.

If the vehicle is fitted with Electronic Climate Control (ECC), which I suspect it will be, the flashing lights are telling you that fault codes are stored in the control unit. You can read the fault codes yourself by following the information in the attached:

The light that you place near the sunlight sensor should not be fluorescent.

Let us know if you find any fault codes.

By the way this site is based in the US and "H Reg" means nothing to the US members. Just use the year of the vehicle.
