Vibration when I turn left

Hi everyone,

I have a 2001 V70 2.4T. When I am under acceleration, if I turn the wheel to the left at all, I get a vibration and a little noise. My first thought was a bad wheel bearing, but if I let off the accelerator and coast, I don't get the vibration or noise even if I do a hard weave back and forth. As soon as I get back under power, it comes back, but only when I turn to the left. It seems to be coming from the right side. My next thought was engine mount. Thoughts?

Probably a bad axle
FWD right?

Yes, front wheel drive. How big of a job is a new drive axle?

I do pretty much all of my own repairs short of a transmission repair. For anybody that has been through this, what are the early symptoms of an axle going bad? Is there anything else to look for besides the noise I described? I would hate to replace a good one.

Vibration under load and when turning? lol.

Check your boots to see if one of them is torn. Is there clicking noise when turning coming from under the car? Trying to figure out your "noise". Needs to be more specific.

This ended up being a bad engine mount, the lower right passenger side. Pretty easy fix.
