hey just wondering if anyone had a nice v70r for sale.. dont care the year id rather have a 04 but it doesnt matter if its in good shape and under 150,000 miles pm me

personal opinion .. my fav. year and id rather have stick for bragging rights and waaay more fun to drive.. but i will gladly take an auto if the price is right .. doubt ill find and 04 cheap enough but i figured id throw it out there

04s have more issues than the rest of the years
I can find you a good R but I need to know your price range

i like the shock dampening system,stick shift,300 horse,brembo brakes and the sport seats.. 10,000 is my roof

this a nice one. according to the dealer the PO has the front shocks replaced with new volvo OEM, brake rotors and pads are newand newer tires on it. ALSO according to the dealer, timing belt service is to be done at 120k and does not need it.

Dealer is full of "something" if timing belt is not need to be done now, but it is needed due to age.
Good is the shocks has been addressed
Bad: 107k and the car never seen the inside is a service bay @ a dealership according to auto check and car fax.
Bad: 300 miles from my house, $125 amtrak train ticket and 5 hour ride = 12-14hours wasted and $250 if it doesnt pan out for me
Bad: one driver back to 3 cars

i dont NEED another volvo, hahaha
Good: Brakes are supposedly done
Good color combo
Bad: no third row
bad: not the niced 05+ dash
good: 3 oem keys
bad: $500 non refundable deposit to take car off market for 7 business days(his terms not mine..respectable)

BTW- i emailed JRL on his thoughts about this car and has yet to get a response.

EDIT: just got a response from JRL, "its worth it, sure unless its a POS" i would assume that means when i get there and see it in person.

I did talk to steve wood about the car, i was curt and to the point. told him what i wanted and asked him for his bottom line no bull crap ect. i will not post the price here. you can email me at gshadow325 at g mail dot com and i can foward you the responses from steve wood.

He sounds like a real honest dude, cant say i have anything bad to say. he sells cars for a profit. i have dealt with some real scum bags, like the one i bought my 1998 v70 t5m from.

I think i am going to pass on this car, since i dont need it, just always WANTED one...if only it was a manual......

since i am not buying it...what the hell....seller agreed to $8800 for this 04 v70r, car fax looks just like the ebay autocheck.

nice price for a decent car.
