2000 S70 2.4l 4 valve non turbo.
My sister had a leak in her radiator and ended up blowing the engine. I've got a replacement engine and radiator.
When I disconnected the lower radiator hose engine oil/water came out. Not suprised that the oil and water got mixed. I pulled the automatic tranny dipstick and the fluid looked nice and red.
The two lines that run from the tranny to the radiator, do they circulate ATF? Does the radiator have a dual core, one circuit for the coolant and and seperate for the ATF. I ask because I'm wondering if the tranny could have been exposed to engine oil or coolant. I don't think so but the ATF lines running into the radiator have me wondering.
Thanks pb
Cracked block, oil/water mixed. Thoughts?

The transmission oil cooler, while in the radiator tank, is (or at least should be unless it breaks) totally isolated from the coolant. If the fluid looks good it should be just fine.
