WTB: Hood for Platinum 855

Looking for a hood for a 96 850 Platinum ED (paint code 424). The hood I have today dented but works fine. So I am only looking for a matching platinum painted hood in great shape. The reason for looking is so I don't have to send to the body shop for paint work.

I also am looking for 4 Persus rims in great shape. Have rims (Centarus) with good tires to swap if you still need rims on your car.

Are you still looking for a hood? I don't have one to offer, but I'm in the same boat as you and would gladly take your old Platinum hood off your hands if you were looking to get rid of it.

Plus a free bump! haha

Hoods!! I have the classic white Volvo paint on my 850R. All if the car is perfect on paint but the hood was replaced and a front-ender by the PO and the paint job was/is lousy. Now, 9 years later, still a lousy hood paint but no chips anywhere else. The better shops around here are averaging $300.00 for making it right. How's that compare to a replacement? Used I mean.

I wish both of you great luck in finding what you need. Those pearlescent paints are reallllly hard to match!

Rally close on a hood across the country but shipping killed the deal. My son found a local sedan that was side swiped coming home this week. I drove out the next day to leave a note but it was gone. I may just go the body shop route in the spring.

In the mean time, still looking.
