Winter shoes...and Merry Christmas!
When I pulled the wheels for the first time, I noticed a stainless steel pin sticking out of the hub...what is that doo-hickey? One of the four was broken off...

That's a little thing that holds the brake caliper on when you take the wheel off (besides rust, of course), and also makes it so that the wheel can only be put on in one position.
