Hi -newbie here needs help on correct Transmission Model

First of all ......Hi to everybody...and I was thankful that I have found this great website....

A few months ago I bought this car; 2003 S80 with a 2.4L engine 20V Non turbo with Automatic Transmission, my problem is that I have to replace the driveshaft left and right as recommended by the mechanic because the car starts to vibrate when under load. he said all the mounts are fine and the suspension are seems ok so he inspected the axles and he found play on both sides....the thing is I dont know which "aftermarket" parts to buy because i am confused with the Transmission model, most of the site I search shows 2.9L engines Non Turbo and the axles are different from what I have...

could anyone please help me determine what is the correct transmission model that i have ; the following are the details

Make: Volvo
Model: S80
Year: 2003
Engine: 2.4L 20V Non turbo
Engine code: B5244S as per dealer records....

The funny thing is that when I searched on Model S60 - the axles pictures and the engine description are the same.........I was thinking my car is an S80 with a S60 Engine........

North American S80's were never fitted with the b5244s. Later first generation S80's had B5254t engines. The FCP catalogs are not showing your car because they only show north American models.
The pictures looks similar but I think S60 and S80 have different track width and I would think the shaft length between the CV joints may not be the same for S60 and S80. I think if you look at 2005 S80 listing for models with the 5 cylinders you'll get another part number that would work or maybe they are the same S60/S80 and you'll figure that out by comparison of part numbers.

Thanks jimmy. sorry for the late reply, i tried your suggestion and it worked!....the compatible part is in the 2004 models with 5 cylinder engines. And to make sure I e-mailed most of the suppliers, FCP replied and suggested the 2004 S80 T5 parts, which is correct when I tried the volvopartswebstore the driveshaft of 2004 s80 t5 is compatible with 2003 s80 2.4l non turbo model.
