Salvage S70 GLT Cheap Long Island NY

Hey...this car served me well throughout college. I acquired it through a settlement with a car shop who trashed my 97 850 GLT a couple years ago, they did not want to own up so I filed with the BBB, FTC, and State Attorney General...

Six Months later they wanted to settle..

The car was salvage when I got it, but was being sold by a mechanic, whose son had driven the car after it was wrecked...Car ran beautiful from about 115 til just recently..it now has 150K and has recently been driven from South Texas up through Tennessee into Kentucky up to Indianapolis over to Kansas City, back to Texas, Back to Kansas City, back to Kentucky, Back to Indy, back to Kansas, and then 2000 miles in three days to arrive in Portland, Oregon....

I had the car Towed from PDX --> Long Island NY because I did not feel like driving all this way since I had within the past 8 months driven all over the nation...

Well, the towing company really did a number on the car and it now leaks antifreeze, and oil. I am not sure what is wrong with the car, presumably quite a bit...

However, the car had some nice features. I just got a 2012 Jetta last night and the dealer wants to scrap the car. I figure I can get a volvo enthusiast to take the car off my hands and put it to good use...

If you want, you can take this car to the Volvo Mechanic, and ask them to tell you EVERYTHING that is wrong with this car. I can then take the bill to the towing companies insurance who will NOT pay for the car until damages exceed 2500. I am sure you can get the volvo mechanics to quote you a high price like this.

I think possibly the PCV is clogged, some hoses to be replaced, and the oil filter "bolt" should be replaced as well.. Oil sitting on top of the engine not sure why..

So what is good about this car?

It is a 98 S70 GLT Forest Green with Creme Leather. The leather is in B+ shape, NO TEARs, NO RIPS, possibly some cleaning could be done to put them in A shape but all in all they are in pretty good condition. I also have an extremely nice alpine AMP mrd-m605 and infinity kappa + alpine deck that work beautiful together. I am trying to get the VW dealer to install these for me but would leave em in the volvo if someone wants em.

Also headlights, knobs, bulbs, leather seats, mirrors, belts, buckles, screws, bolts, wood grain steering wheel, tires in ok condition.

Car has 150K Miles on it. No major body damage but does obviously have dings, scratches, etc.

Has spoiler, sunroof, turbo.

Make me an offer. If you live within ~50 miles of Long Island I could have this car towed to you possibly through AAA. If you live near Hicksville you could potentially drive it home but I would not recommend going very far at all. It began to over heat two days ago and I immediately parked it at the VW dealer and have not touched it sense except last night to move it.

Also the hood should be replaced because it is a little awkward from flying up on me last summer..

Yes I realize there is a lot wrong with this car. I figure hopefully someone can restore it because this was my third volvo and I really wanted to just get another 850 (had 2 before) but needed something reliable from the gate so just went with the VW.
