Car just stopped, unable to start.

My son just called from the road. S80T6 just died on the side of the road. Ten minutes prior he had disconnected the battery. I told him to lock and unlock car with remote to initiate the communication link. I drove over. It wants to start but just cuts off. Any ideas?

Does sit start and then shut off suddenly -like you turned off a light switch
or
Does it start and then chug chug chug and then die?

RPM seems to go to 300, then it cuts out. We left the car on the side of the road. I'll check it again at day light today.

Merry Christmas..

It turned out that a wire connector feel off the back of one of the relay cubes, on the terminal block under the dash. Pushed it back in. Brian was on his way. Tricky little cars.

Just wondering how you found that the connector had fallen off? i.e. What made you look under the dash????
