no power to coil
Help. I have a 1991 940 turbo that was running great. One day while driving it just died. Now it wont start. There is no power or ground to the coil. Anyone have any ideas?

Welcome to Matthew's Volvo Site.
Have you checked the power stage aka the ignition amplifier? It is mounted on the driver's side front inner wing, UK terminology, or inner driver's side fender well, US terminology. It is just above the battery. If that fails you will have nothing at the coil.

Unfortunately the ignition amplifier is good. Any other ideas?
