Rear screen wiper arm upgrade

Can anyone tell me how to upgrade my rear wiper arm.

I have just purchased a new blade from my localdealer and found that the top of the screen is not being wiped, the technician stated that a upgrade to the arm is required an would need the car to be booked in.

Can't be bothered with that so dose anyone have any ideas.

My english aint the best but buy a new rear wiper arm and replace it,
take from year model 03 and forward.

I have the same problem with my 2001 V40. I am in the US, BTW. The rear wiper only touched the sides, but not the top of the window. So they are telling you to replace the wiper arm?
