2008 s80 trans software upgrade

2008 s80 trans software upgrade

Had warranty service done at local dealer... Complained of hard/delayed up shift 2/3 gears - they did software upgrade and it has changed idle and average gas mileage - 5 mpg. Anyone else experience this?
