'01 V70 Turn signal warning?

I am beginning to get a warning that says one of my right turn signal bulbs is burned out, and the turn signal flashes at twice the normal rate. However, when I check, all bulbs seem to be flashing ( at 2x normal rate, but they are flashing). And occasionally, the whole problem goes away. Anyone have any ideas what to do? Ive tried removing the front turn signal bulb, but what a pain! I have been unable to extract it!?
