Something has gone wrong with my wipers. Mechanical, I think. I can hear things working when I switch them on but nothing moves.
Question is how to get at the mechanical part?
Up from underneath I guess. You certainly can't go down through the top.
How we go from underneath? Anyone know? Is it a major job or what?
Any help much appreciated.

244GL How to Get at Wiper Mechanism?
Yes, go up from underneath at the right side and you will find the wiper motor. If you have luck, it is just a locking washer that has been dropped from the motor shaft. Then you just put it back and add some oil at the same time.
Hi...
I've taken the glove box out and I've seen something of what's going on. A disk has dropped off a shaft, alright.
But how to put it back?
There's a wire that wraps around that disk, apparently.
There's two sort of channels made of long u section metal, each with a slight curve in it, one coming from the right and one coming from the left and crossing over each other like a couple of saracen swords or something.
The disk is currently stuck between the two and the wire - ends and all - loosely laying around it all.
Where should it all be? Do I need to get to the driver side? How?
