can anyone maybe guide me with the setting up of the VVT's on my volvo. I had to do the head gasket and replaced all the cam seals. Marked everything and put it back the way it was. Ps advice and drawing would be really appreciatedIt's very easy to not set the VVT right if following the guide out of a repair manual (kind of confusing). Bottom line is that with the timing marks all aligned correctly...loosen the three outer bolts to the VVT cam wheel and turn the center torque nut fully clockwise as far as it will go then tighten the outer nuts while holding it...button it all back up and have a beer. This is for a 99 S80 T6, 2.8 not sure what's in your 03 but can't imagine it's different.
Our first 240 saved us twice we are a living testament to Volvo safety. The S80 T6 is "just because I could" and it's a fun drive!
