Hi. I'm trying to recharge the A/C in my '95 850 but the compressor won't even short cycle. I know from reading that this means I need to force the compressor to run so that I can start adding refrigerant.
Does anyone have beginner level instructions on how I can do this?

I know you can use a piece of wire and jump the relay to jump start it but not sure where you do this. Others more familiar can jump in, or you might check the info section of this site for specifics.

I have an 850 volvo to make compressor keep runinng try this
this is sensor

but remember the manual says not to keep it running longer than 10 minutes constantly so becareful runnin git longer can cause damage to compressor
make sure car is on off position and release teh sensor located by firewall its like a clip and used paper clip just fold them over make sure points are some what even and push them in the sensor becarful not to ruin the pins in sensor head cause then you either have to fold them back or get a new one
then turn car on after doing this compressor should run just connect or haver everything ready to connect enjoy...
