99 V70 T5 replacment turbo

This is a used 13T turbo from my T5. It was leaking a bit of oil from the intake side, but provides full boost. I was going to rebuild this with the Mitsubitchui rebuild kit and reinstall, but got a new OEM at dealer cost. If I hadn't I would reinstall without a doubt. send a PM for more info, or pics. $120 and I will ship anywhere. atmarineservices at yahoodotcom

Why did you have a 13T on a T5?

It must have been a GLT unless the previous owner before you put a 13T on the T5 engine.

Did you replace it with another 13T? If your wagon is truly a T5 it should have a 16T.

It was a 13T that cam off the car. I purchased a new one through Volvo using the VIN number and got a 16T and that is what went back on the car. So, yes indeed I have a T5, not a GLT. It really gets me why a 13T came off the car. It was dealer maintained until only a few years ago, so not sure what is up with that. I really do not notice too much of a difference form the 13T compared to the 16T
