Volvo 850 GLT for sale - Braddock Heights, MD

Greetings,

I'm interested in selling a 96 Volvo 850 GLT, 5 speed, tan leather, Alpine head unit, good rubber, rock solid motor/trans. I've also got a few boxes of parts that I've stockpiled from the previous 2 850s that I've owned. I bought this 850 from the original owner after his son cracked up the front-end. Air bags did not deploy. I replaced most of the front end (hood, fender, bumper, radiator, etc. as well as the steering rack, which failed Maryland state inspection) and my son has driven it for the last two years when home from college. The clock shows 118k miles on the car, actual is probably closer to 130k. Its since been in another another fender-bender and this time I replaced the hood, as it was the only casualty. I've driven it at length since, probably putting another 500 miles on it, with no problems. Starts, runs, drives well. ABS light is on. This is a non-TRACS system.

Frankly, I'm tired of looking at it and I've spent about five years now repairing 850's and I've had enough. I would like to replace it in the fleet. Note that I don't need to sell it, so I won't accept any low ball offers and the kid is content driving it indefinitely if I decide to keep it.

Depending on what offers I get, I'm willing to sell the whole car and boxes of parts, spare wheels, etc. for $750.00. Alternatively, I'll consider parting it out, but only if I can unload big ticket items first, like motor/trans.

If you decide to part out - starting with the tranny, I might be interested in some parts depending if they will fit a 95.

My daughter's is falling apart. She could use a new hood and (not as important) right fender. What color is your car?

Her interior is totally trashed, I'd be half tempted to swap all the seats, dash, headliner and door skins but hers is blue and that might be a disgusting color mix with tan.
