i have a 2002 v70 XC AWD and the rear sprayer shoots straight backward, in a solid stream. there is a dome-shaped piece, at the base of the wiper assembly, that looks to have broken off. do i need a whole new wiper arm? is this an easy/cheap DIY repair?
also, i've tried changing the rear wiper and haven't been able to figure out how to get the darn blade off. i'm affraid i'll break the wiper arm... if anyone knows a good place to find parts and/or video instructions, i'd be very grateful. thanks!

There is a brass insert with a plastic tube that goes through the center of the shaft. It should be inexpensive <$5.oo.
After you pull the nut off, a two jaw puller should work, or a battery terminal puller.
If you use a puller with a pointed screw, put a suitably sized piece of metal @1/8 thick, (penny, nickel) between the shaft and the puller point to keep from distorting the shaft.
