1987 240DL wiring issue

I had an old 1987 240 DL returned to me after roughly seven years, while it was being used by my friend she had someone replace the intake gasket. My problem is that there is a coolant sensor just above the Fire Trap, and there's nothing plugged to it? I've searched and can't find any wiring that would plug to it(although I found several things not connected) My question is where can I find a good service manual that has a good electrical schematic, with sensor and relay locations? Or... does anyone knoe what color wire that goes to the coolant temperature sensor above the Fire Trap box?

Jerry, welcome to Matthew's Volvo Site.

Unfortunately the 240 isn't covered by those wiring diagrams. However, the coolant temp sensor wire is blue.

If you search in this forum for 240 relays using my name as author you will find a diagram.

I can also post you wiring diagrams if you still want them.
