removing a heater matrix on Volvo 760

Post by gladysgibb »

I need to remove the heater matrix to replace it. I tried to remove but it is too long to go past the pedals. Is there an easier and more efficient way, please?

Unfortunately there is no easy way to do this job. As with a lot of cars, notably the older Fords, the manufacturers seem to take the heater and build the rest of the car round it.

This link will take you to a comprehensive article on the job. It is written for US cars but the procedure is the same for UK cars.
