If the in-tank pump isn't working and the fuel level is low the main pump will struggle to pull the fuel through.

I've replaced the in tank pump. Just need to finish the hoses and I'll give her a go.

Well now that I got everything back together I took it for a spin. I am pleased to say it was the in tank fuel pump and the FPR. (it was leaking) I'm done with this car and now I'm selling it. I do want another volvo, just not one that is so special. I also want it to be a 4 door.

Thank you Bill for the help. It wasn't anything I'd had already learned before at many other forums but you did put forth effort and I applaud you for that.

To the guy above me. It seems you have a problem with communitive examplism. Go figure.... You offered no help and till though you needed to come in here and bash me a little. you are so tough. Internet bully at it's finest?
