I bought one of these:

It works fine on my 98 V70 and cost under 30 bucks. Works on my other obd cars too, subaru and a gmc truck.
China junk but cheaper than running to autozone every two days to check which code I'm getting today. If I go three days without a code it would only be 'cause the bulb burnt out

Looks like a rebadged actron. All that counts is that it does it's job, and beats dealing with some of Autozone's people.

Yeah, that's what I though too. AZ had the Actron on sale for $49.00. This one at 26 somthing, no sales tax and free shipping is hard to beat. I ordered a second one to keep in the garage as the first stays in the Volvo glove compartment.
