Horn partially working XC 90 2006 D5

I have just noticed that my horn on my XC 90 D5 does not sound "normal" Its as if its lost its "oomf" After some internet surfing I discovered that indeed this model does have two horns that are different decibels. I am not sure which one is no longer working...but I am wondering if its something as simple as a "fuse"...It still makes a noise...its just a bit "wimpy" sounding...Anyway have just had it serviced today (first time at a non- dealer workshop as its now out of warranty) and I asked my husband to mention the horn sounding strange....we will see if it was a simple fix...if not I will have a go myself depending on what advice I get!!
