white exhaust?
White smoke is an indication of water in the combustion chamber.
I'm assuming your vehicle is a petrol model?
First check your coolant levels..are they normal? have you had the need to top up recently? check it's condition- is it oily? ( note that antifreeze coolant can be mistake for oil contamination) The cap may have a milky residue on it.
Secondly need to check that the oil hasn't been contaminated with water.
Check the oil filler cap - check the neck and the underside of the cap - is it milky/sludgy - check the dip stick the same way.
If both are confirmed then your looking at head gasket failure - if the engine oil is contaminated - do not drive!! as you can seriously damage your engine beyond the point of repair.
Other causes are a crack in the engine block / warped cylinder head.
